한국한복진흥원은 2월 12일 원내 회의실에서 제1호 한복 기증자인 오정자(81세) 한복 명인이 참석한 가운데 기증식을 개최했다.
이번 기증식에는 김재수 대표이사, 박후근 한국한복진흥원장 등이 참석했다.
한국한복진흥원은 2021년 4월에 개원하여 경상북도 도비와 상주시 시비 및 국고보조금 등으로 운영해 왔으며, 개원 이후 오정자 한복 명인이 첫 번째 기증자이다.
이번 기증식은 지난해 7월, 오정자 대표가 한복 기증(52점)에 대한 의사를 표명한 이후 그동안 행정절차를 완료하고 실시하는 것이다.
이번 기증식 한복 중 하나인 깨끼저고리는 한국 전통 의상 중 하나로 투명한 옷 솔기마다 시접 없이 가는 선만이 돋보이는 우아하고 정교한 디자인이 특징이다.
겉옷으로는 얇은 옷감을 사용하여 속이 비치는 형태를 취하며, 옷감을 앞뒤로 세 번 바느질하는 특별한 기술을 활용한다.
한편 한국한복진흥원은 오정자 명인의 기증품을 시작으로 수도권, 충청·영남지역 및 호남지역 등의 특색을 파악할 계획이며, 전국의 지역별 한복 자료를 전산화하여 자료집을 발간할 계획이다.
한편 이번 기증식과 관련하여 오정자 한복 명인의 「한 땀의 예술, 오정자 명인의 깨끼저고리 특별전」이 지난 2월 10일부터 한국한복진흥원 한복명품관에 전시되고 있다.
한국한복진흥원은 앞으로 도록 제작, 수장고에 기증자 코너를 만드는 등의 후속 조치를 할 예정이다.
